The Padel League
Terms of Use
Last updated: 4 September 2026
Competition participation and eligibility
Participation in PL is subject to these Terms of Use, the current PL Official Competition Rule Book, the player waiver and organiser instructions. Season 1 participation is limited to players aged 18 years or over. Teams must provide accurate registration information and meet all applicable eligibility requirements.
Registration and payment
A registration is subject to review and confirmation. Payment is required in accordance with the registration process before a team entry is confirmed. Current entry information is provided during registration and may be updated by PL without being incorporated into these Terms.
Competition format and progression
Groups of four qualify the top two teams. IPA Alexandria Silver (five teams) and Padel Club Silver (seven teams) qualify the top four for semi-finals: 1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd. Group-stage matches use the PL extended-set format. Matches after the group stage use normal best-of-three padel rules. Inter-club ties are played over two legs; if the legs are split 1–1, a deciding super tiebreak is played straight after Leg 2, first to 9 points with no win-by-two. The competition culminates in PL Grand Final Day.
Teams, conduct and prizes
Teams are responsible for maintaining accurate contact details, meeting scheduled commitments and following the conduct and captain responsibilities set out in the current PL Official Competition Rule Book. PL offers $12,500 cash in prizes across the four tiers (Bronze $2,000; Silver $2,500; Gold $3,500; Platinum $4,500), subject to the applicable competition requirements and organiser directions.
Changes and contact
PL may update competition details where reasonably required to operate the competition. The current PL Official Competition Rule Book governs competition rules. For questions, contact PL through the contact section on our About page.
